We say hi and bye, but we'll never be close again" Violet saw Jasper in a new light. She shouldn't be feeling upset about him. She felt sorry for Taylor; he didn't deserve to lose his girlfriend like that. Violet could tell he was a good guy. "Well, there's hours left in this party, wanna go dance?" she asked. Taylor nodded, they linked arms and walked into the house. He was gorgeous! Taylor saw Violet peek at him from under her long eyelashes and he also saw her smile after. But if he's a teenager, he's probably going to care that they're not real All Starts. Maybe let his parents know that he wants them and let them spend a bit more for the real things and get him something else that's less expensive. Sorry to be blunt, but I wouldn't be too excited if someone gave me All Star knockoffs. I don't have a problem with other knock offs, but Converse are timeless and worth the money to me.
Also, maybe look at Vans. They're the same...genre of shoe, if that works, and some of them are less expensive."
